After a year long delay, the EURO 2020 (EURO 2021) is finally taking place. The tournament that summons the greatest European national teams will begin on June 11th and it will end on July 11th at the majestic Wembley stadium. Just one team among the 24 national teams will be able to lift the famous Henri Delaunay trophy. And what’s most important, who will win this Eurocup? In order to find this out, the experts at  PepeBet will analyze every event of this tournament to offer you the best tips for the Eurocup 2021.

Which national teams are the favorites?

Based on various statistics and recent results, we came up with a list containing 10 teams that could win the competition, in order of highest to lowest probability: France, England, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Croatia and Denmark.

French National Team

For all the bookmakers France is the most likely to win, not only because they have Mbappe and Griezmann, but also Benzema, who’s rejoining the national team after a few years. The French national team is in very good shape and expects to repeat the victory they accomplished in 2018 at the Eurocup 2020.

The only handicap the Bleus currently have is that they won’t be hosting any of the matches. Even so, our prediction for the Eurocup is that they’re the most likely to win, after a reborn England.

English national team

The English national team, trained by Gareth Southgate, joins this competition as the second most likely to win. This is well expected as they have an outstanding team, full of young players with great talent. This team’s foundation was what got them to the semifinal of the World Championship in 2018, which they lost against Modric’s Croatia.

Currently they have improved a lot compared to that team and they count on great stars such as Jadon Sancho, Alexander-Arnold, Jack Grealish or Phil Foden. The tips for the Eurocup 2020 are really favorable to them mostly because most of the matches will be played in England.

Belgium national team

The Red Devils got to the semifinal of the World Championship that took place in Russia in 2018 and they ended up in the third place. At this Eurocup our tips predict they are the third most-likely to win and they have a great chance to get far in the final phase. For a few years they have counted on very experienced players such as Hazard, De Bruyne, Mertens or their top scorers Romelu Lukaku. Also, they have one of the greatest goalkeepers in the world: Thibaut Courtois.

Possible surprises regarding tips for the Euro 2020

Behind these three national teams, tips for the Eurocup determined the 3 teams most-likely to win: Spain, Portugal and Germany. From this list, Portugal has better odds as they won the last trophy back at the Euro 2016 and they are also the winners of the Uefa Nations League.

Spain and Germany always have a great chance to go far. Although they’ve had some changes in their squads, they both have very good players. Behind them, we can find Italy and the Netherlands. At PepeBet we have faith in the Italian team as they haven’t lost in the last 26 matches. They could surprise everyone as they already did back in 2006.

Group A

  • Italy

  • Turkey

  • Switzerland

  • Wales

Group A is led by Italy. The Italian national team comes back to a world championship after missing the date back in 2018. After this, we find Switzerland, Turkey and Wales. Wales is the least likely to move to the next stage and all tips predict a fight between Turkey and Switzerland for the second place after Italy. The Azzurri, trained by Roberto Mancini, have the best odds of winning in this group.

Group B

  • Belgium

  • Denmark

  • Russia

  • Finland

This group seems very well balanced. It’s true that Belgium is the favorite one, but both the Danish and Russians could make things difficult for the Red Devils. The team trained by Roberto Martínez will have to work hard in order to keep one of the first places in the group. Finland could end up fighting for the first place; though they don’t have any stars, they have very hard-working players, such as their midfield Glen Kamara.

Group C

  • Netherlands

  • Ukraine

  • Austria

  • North Macedonia

This group is one of those that doesn't have very much quality. The favorite to win this group is the Netherlands whose coach is Frank de Boer. All the predictions show that the second favorite is Ukraine and the other two national teams don’t have great chances. For Austria and North Macedonia it will be very complicated to move to the next stage.

Group D

  • England

  • Croatia

  • Czech Republic

  • Scotland

England, the second most likely to win this championship, will again face Croatia, the team that kicked them out of the last world championship. However, they saw each other at another semifinal, the Uefa Nations League in 2019, which they won on that occasion. For the Czech Republic and Scotland it will be harder to reach the following phase. Actually probabilities are pretty low for these two teams.

Group E

  • Spain

  • Poland

  • Sweden

  • Eslovaquia

Even though Spain lost its good shape after winning the EURO 2012, it’s always a national team with great potential. The team trained by Luis Enrique still has some of the best odds to win as its rivals are not very strong. Poland and Sweden will fight for second place, though Poland is more likely to win, thanks to the presence of Robert Lewandowski.

Group F

  • Germany

  • France

  • Portugal

  • Hungary

This is the best group. 3 great national teams have encountered themselves in the same group, so it will be nice to see the matches between these teams. Based on the predictions for the Eurocup 2020, France has slightly higher odds than Germany and Portugal, but we can’t discard any of them as the winner of the first place. The team that won’t have great chances is Hungary, that surely will end up in the last place of the group

The qualifying system is easy. Only the first two teams of each group will classify. Moreover, there’s a possibility for the 4 teams in 3rd place to classify. What is certain is that in group F, the team that gets the third place will have a great level, so we won’t see any great team abandoning the groups phase, unless something terrible happens.
